During their official conference at this year’s E3 event, Bethesda Softworks revealed the new trailer for Fallout 76, and shared some insight into their latest endeavor with those in attendance, as well as those watching at home via livestreams.

Following their earlier teaser trailer, this one sheds quite a bit more light on the upcoming release, including confirmation that it will indeed take place in alternate-future West Virginia. Bethesda head-honcho Todd Howard revealed that Fallout 76 will be a prequel to the entire Fallout series, taking place only 20 years after the bombs fall, and will be “entirely online”. For those of you already scoffing at this news (and several did during the presentation) Howard went on to quickly note that “of course you can play this solo.” That being said, there has as of yet been no official word as to if there will be a true single-player mode in this game, as in a way for gamers to completely avoid other players.
Fallout 76 is currently slated for release worldwide on November 14, 2018. For more information on Fallout 76, including pre-order info, B.E.T.A. testing, and more, please visit the official Bethesda website at bethesda.net.
