Closing Time, the newest short film from A Stranger Concept Films in association with us here at Nerd Nation Entertainment launched its official Indiegogo campaign yesterday (which can be seen HERE).
Closing Time is a horror/suspense short film in the vein of classic horror and suspense such as ‘The Twilight Zone’ and ‘The Outer Limits’. It is adapted by director Adam York from the short story/novella of the same name by our very own Dave Harlequin and stars long-time independent film veterans Patrick G. Keenan and Kevin Helms.
Closing Time tells the story of Jerry Faulk (Helms), an aging bartender at a roadhouse dive bar who on a particularly slow night has a chance encounter with a very unusual patron named Michael (Keenan). As the lonely night rolls on, the two find that while they have more in common than they could have ever expected, nothing about this encounter is exactly as it seems.
Filming is set to begin this May in Charlotte, North Carolina with an expected worldwide release around November 2017. More information on this can be found at the film’s official IMDb page.
