It’s official, Maisie Williams has been confirmed to appear in the forthcoming season of Doctor Who.
Williams, who plays Arya Stark in the highly popular HBO series Game of Thrones, will step into the T.A.R.D.I.S. for a guest spot on BBC’s iconic sci-fi/fantasy adventure, though it is unknown at this time who/what she will portray.
“We’re thrilled to have Maisie Williams joining us,” Doctor Who executive producer Steven Moffat said in a statement. “It’s not possible to say too much about who or what she’s playing, but she is going to challenge the Doctor in very unexpected ways. This time he might just be out of his depth, and we know Maisie is going to give him exactly the right sort of hell.”
Doctor Who returns this fall on BBC One in the UK, and on BBC America in the US.
